Fun Fact

All of the New Kids come from large families. Joe McIntyre and Donnie Wahlburg both had eight siblings, Danny Wood had five, and Jonathan and Jordan Knight were part of a family with six biological children and typically as many as six foster kids at any one time.


I'm a Blockhead

The boy band phenomena really took off in the 80s and 90s when bands like New Edition, Boyz II Men, Backstreet Boys, N Sync, and 98 Degrees achieved huge success. But I was (and still am) a devoted News Kids on the Block fan. You can imaging my excitement when the band reunited in 2008 after a 20 year hiatus. I was lucky enough to meet them on a few occasions and was happy as can be!
